Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 18 districts with a forecast of lightning and thunderstorm during the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Boudh, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Bargarh, the IMD said.
On the other hand, light to moderate rainfall is expected to occur in the State over the next five days. Bhubaneswar will experience one or two spells of rain or thundershower during the next 24 hours, the IMD predicted.
