Koraput: Two persons were killed due to a landslide here on Wednesday. The mishap took place while the doubling of the track between Koraput and Rayagada was underway.
The two workers were identified Rabi Prepeka of Burja village and Jaharuddin of Assam. They came under a pile of soil while working at a site where a tunnel was being dug.
The incident occurred at Lakhmipur Block 2 tunnel, which was being doubled for the new double railway line.
