Bhubaneswar: Sand artists Sudarshan Pattnaik and Manas Kumar Sahoo paid teary tribute to comedian Raju Srivastava who passed away at AIIMS New Delhi, today morning. He was 58.
The people of India are saddened on the demise of everyone’s favorite actor, comedian Raju Srivastava. As a tribute, remembering his comedy, Sahoo sculpted a sand statue of Srivastava, near the Lighthouse on Puri beach.
This sand sculpture is 15 feet wide and it took Sahoo about 7 hours to sculpt it. About 10 tonnes of sand has been consumed in it. It displays the message “Heartfelt Tribute to Raju Srivastava”.
Similarly, Pattnaik bid adieu to the star comedian hailing him as the greatest. The one who made everyone laugh, left us sobbing today, he said. His sand art had a message: “Haste haste rula diya Raju”.
