Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic storm is likely to form over West-Central Bay of Bengal, informed the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
As per the IMD, yesterday’s cyclonic circulation over south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood now lies over north Andaman Sea and neighbourhood.
Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression by 22nd morning over Central Bay of Bengal. It may intensify further into a Cyclonic Storm over West-Central Bay of Bengal subsequently.
