Berhampur: A woman identified as Jhunu Nahak was allegedly murdered by locals of her village during a clash here on Thursday. The incident occured after Nahak filed a police complaint about her husband being beaten over sorcery allegations.
Police have sent the body for autopsy and registered a case of murder. According to reports, many men and women from Madhurajhali village under Kabisurjyanagar police limits have been detained for questioning in this case.
