Cuttack: An employee of Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has been arrested for allegedly selling fake Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) Certificate.
The accused identified as Bhramar Nayak works as a sweeper supervisor in BSE Odisha. He had sold a fake OSSTET certificate to a person from Keonjhar at a price of Rs 45,000.
After realizing that the certificate was fake, the concerned person informed the Board. Later, the Board lodged a complaint at Mangalabag Police Station.
Based on the complaint, Mangalabag Police initiated a probe and arrested Nayak. It is suspected that more fake certificates have been issued in a similar manner.
