Bhubaneswar: The second day of the Winter Session of the Odisha Assembly witnessed ruckus by both the opposition Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over farmers’ issues such as crop insurance.
When the House assembled for the day at 10.30 AM, the legislators created pandemonium by rushing to the podium. As the pandemonium continued, Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha adjourned the House till 11.30 am.
As the ruckus continued after the House met again, it was adjourned once more till 4 pm.
