Puri: A minor girl allegedly died by suicide in Pradhan Sahi of Chandanpur of Puri district today.
Police seized the body and sent it for autopsy after family members of the deceased lodged a written complaint with Chandanpur police.
According to reports, at around 6 in the morning, the minor girl was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her bedroom.
While police have launched an investigation into the matter, the reason behind the minor girl taking the extreme step is not known.
