Bhubaneswar: In a bid to decongest arterial roads of the City, the Commissionerate of Police issued strictures on parking. According to an order issued by the Twin City police, vehicles parked on these roads will be towed and their owners will be fined.
These roads are:
IDBI Bank Square to Veterinary College, NH-16 via Empire Hotel.
Alok Bharti Building to Saheed Nagar Durga Puja Mandap on Janpath.
Janpath (Kalyan Jewellers) to Charka Medical Store via Sparsh Hospital.
Trupti Service Station of Janpath to Saheed Nagar Entry Point.
Besides, the citizens have been advised not to park vehicles on busy stretches. They have been asked to park their vehicles at designated parking spaces or away from main road.
Violation will attract a fine of Rs 500. The rule will be implemented strictly on these stretches, the Twin City police stated.
