Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik will hit the campaign trail for his party candidate Barsha Singh Bariha in the Padampur bypoll.
Patnaik will visit Padampur on December 2 (Friday), BJD sources said. He will address three public meetings at Paikmal, Jharbandh, and Padampur, the sources added.
Patnaik will leave Naveen Nivas at 10 AM on December 2 and reach Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at 10.05 AM.
He will fly from BPIA for Padampur at 10.10 AM and reach Padampur Satibhat Airstrip at 11 AM.
From Satibhat Airstrip, Patnaik will board a helicopter for Jharbandh Shakti Chowk helipad at 11.05 AM and reach the meeting venue.
Patnaik after leaving Shakti Chowk at 12.10 PM and on arriving at Paikmal ME school ground will address a public meeting at Paikmal high school ground.
After leaving Paikmal ME school at 1.15 PM Patnaik will alight at RL Kalyan Mandap Campus helipad at 1.30 PM and will visit RL Kalyan Mandap.
From RL Kalyan Mandap Patnaik will leave for Padampur by road at 3.15 PM and on reaching Padampur high school ground at 3.30 PM he will address a public meeting.
On reaching Satibhat Airstrip at 4.25 PM he will fly for Bhubaneswar and reach BPIA at 5.20 PM.
This will be Patnaik’s first election campaign post-COVID-19.
