Home Guard Personnel Dies After Being Knocked Down By Van During Enforcement

Bhubaneswar: A Home Guard personnel was killed after a speeding pickup van knocked him down on near Balabhadrapur in Kendrapara district today morning. The Home Guard personnel was part of an enforcement squad led by the Regional Transport Office staff. A Home Guard personnel succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while a team of local police has been pressed into service to track down the killer pick van.
