Koraput: Around 50 cattle died after the container carrying them lost its control, rammed into an electric pole and overturned on National Highway 326 in Boipariguda block of Koraput district on Friday.
Reportedly, there were around 100 cattle in the container. They were being taken to Malkangiri. The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot after the accident. Locals and police are trying to rescue the remaining cattle.
