Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday exhorted people of the State to welcome the trophy of FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 in a grand manner.
Odisha is hosting the international event for the second time in a row. In 2023, the matches will be played at Kalinga Hockey Stadium here and Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
The CM said: “It is indeed a proud moment for #Odisha as we host Men’s Hockey World Cup for the consecutive time. Let’s all join in the state-wide Trophy Tour being planned across every district of Odisha to celebrate hockey coming home.”
