Puri: The stray tusker that had wreak terror in different areas of Puri district over the last few days has been captured and is being relocated to Chandaka sanctuary.
The tusker after being tranquilized has been shifted onto a lorry and is on its way to Chandaka.
Forest Department staff are accompanying it in its journey to Chandaka. It is expected to reach Chandaka late in the night.
Forest Department staff were successful in tranquilizing the elephant near Prakruti Nivas in Puri.
Today morning the tusker was traced near Baliguali on the Puri-Konark road.
