Balasore: A gang of nine armed robbers who came on four bikes looted Rs 3 lakh while cash was being refilled at the SBI ATM near Jamuna Chhak under Burhampur police limits in Balasore district.
The robbers terrorized the bank staff and public present by brandishing guns and bhujalis before looting the cash and fleeing towards Kaptipada in Mayurbhanj district.
Burhampur police have launched a manhunt for the gang of robbers.
Meanwhile, Nilagiri police in Balasore district have arrested one person in connection with a burglary case.
Police have seized gold and silver ornaments and mobile phone from his possession, police said.
