Bhubaneswar: Dry weather prevailed over the districts of Odisha, while dense fog covered a few places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur in north coastal Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog occurred at one or two places in Mayurbhanj and Kalahandi districts in interior Odisha.
Minimum temperatures dropped significantly at one or two places in south coastal Odisha and there was an appreciable fall at one or two places in south Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 32.5°C was recorded at Malkangiri and Boudh districts, while Phulbani district experienced the lowest minimum temperature at 9.0°C.
The weather is likely to be dry in Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapda, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul and Puri districts during the next few days. At the same time, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh and Jajpur, an India Meteorological Department bulletin said on Monday.
