Bhubaneswar: Most places in Odisha witnessed rising day temperatures as dry weather prevailed over the state.
While minimum temperatures recorded at one or two places over the districts of south interior Odisha fell appreciably there was no major change elsewhere. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhubaneswar office, the minimum (night) temperatures were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 35°C was recorded at Boudh and the lowest minimum temperature of 12.5°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
The IMD forecasts no major change in minimum temperature (night temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next four days and thereafter a decrease by 2-4°C at many places over the districts of Odisha. Dry weather is most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
The sky will mainly remain clear in Bhubaneswar and adjoin regions, while the maximum and minimum temperatures in the Capital City are very likely to be around 32°C and 18°C respectively.
