Jharsuguda: Odisha’s Health and Family Welfare Minister and Jharsuguda MLA Naba Kisore Das sustained injuries after being shot at by unknown assailants in Brajarajnagar on Sunday morning.
The incident took place at Gandhi Chowk in Brajarajnagar at around 12:15 pm. He sustained a bullet injury in his chest. Das was rushed to the local hospital and his condition is stated to be serious.
Reports stated that one round was fired at Das from point-blank range when he was going to attend a public meeting in Brajarajnagar.
