Bhubaneswar: At least three persons were reportedly injured in a bomb attack by two unidentified miscreants at a hotel following a quarrel with the hotel owner over payment issues in Bhubaneswar late on Sunday night. The hotel is located close to the Baramunda bus stand under Khandagiri police limits in the state capital.
According to reports, the three injured are employees of the hotel and are now undergoing treatment at the Capital hospital. The police detained one person in this connection for interrogation.
Sources said two bike-borne miscreants reached the hotel and after dinner there. they had an argument with the eatery owner. The two left the hotel without paying for the food.
A little while later, the two miscreants returned to the hotel, hurled bombs at the eatery and fled the area even before anyone reacted. Three hotel staff were injured in the incident and were rushed to the Capital Hospital.
On being informed, a team from Khandagiri police station reached the hotel and launched a probe. The police detained one person and launched a search for the goons.
