Bhubaneswar: The Health and Family Welfare Department has upgraded the Primary Health Centre (N) at Paikamal in Bargarh district to Community Health Centre (CHC).
The decision was taken to provide affordable and quality health care, and in view of the health care needs of the general public, a notification stated.
The Health Department notification further read: “….Government after careful consideration have been pleased to approve for Up-gradation of PHC(N), Paikamal under Bargarh District to Community Health Centre (CHC).”
The upgraded PHC(N), Paikamal will function as CHC, Paikamal after provisioning of other allied infrastructure facilities, including manpower etc, it added.
