Bhubaneswar: The 3-day SAI Angan Confluence commenced on February 13, 2023, and concluded on February 15, 2023. Students’ performances were based on the theme of the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The 3-day annual Confluence was held by the tiny tots from Playgroup to Class III. Day one witnessed the enchanting performances by the children of Playgroup to KG-I, while on days 2 and 3 the kindergartners of KG I to Class II respectively, decked up in colourful attires danced to reminisce about the freedom fighters.
They depicted the freedom fighters and took the audience through the phases India crossed from being a Sone ki Chidiya to the fight for freedom and the rise of a free nation. It was amazing to see that each child from SAI Angan participate in Confluence 2023.
Trainers of National repute choreographed the string of events and edified the students to give their best performance. SAI International believes in allowing each learner to explore their inherent talents, hence each student is encouraged to participate in this annual mega event.
The Confluence is well aligned with the multisensory approach to learning, with the performances enhancing each skill. The linguistic and logical, along with musical and kinaesthetic are augmented through the songs and sequencing, while the variety of costumes and the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience build the visual, inter and intrapersonal skills.
Each year, the School effectively imparts deeper learning to the students through innovative themes, which sends out a strong message on global values, culture and traditions while also enhancing the naturalistic skills of our young learners.
Speaking at the occasion Chairperson, SAI International Group Dr Silpi Sahoo said,” Its praiseworthy to see my youngest SAIoneers perform with confidence to such excellence. Each year, we effectively impart a deeper learning to the students through such innovative themes, which send out a strong message on the values, culture, and traditions of our nation. Children learn about the freedom struggle and the golden history of our nation”.
Parents were highly appreciative of the 3-day mega SAI Angan Confluence and the learning it provided to the children at such a tender age.
