Berhampur: In a shocking incident, a woman was found dead in a pool of blood in her house at Badadanda Sahi village under Chhatrapur in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Suprabha Chaudhuri, wife of Radhashyam Choudhury.
Radhashyam told the media that while he slept in his shop on Vipulingi road on Wednesday night; his wife was alone at home. When he returned home today morning, he found his wife’s body in a pool of blood. He suspected that she was killed with the intention of robbing their house.
On being informed, Chhatarpur police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
