Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a man and his five-year-old son died in a road accident on the Biju Expressway in the Nuapada district of Odisha on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Kamal Patakinara (35) and his son Dipak Patakinara (5), residents of Michhapali village.
According to reports, the deceased were killed after the bike they were travelling by was hit by a speeding truck on the Biju Expressway near Kusadahana village under Lakhna police limits in Nuapada district.
On being informed, local police reached the spot, recovered the mutilated bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
