Bhubaneswar: Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur districts of Odisha during the next five days owing to a cyclonic circulation lies over Interior Odisha at 1.5 km above mean sea level. In other places of the state, the weather will remain dry; forecast the Bhubaneswar office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.
At the same time, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.

Odisha while dry weather prevailed over the rest districts of the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.0°C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 10.5°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
The IMD said that the minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to rise by 2°C – 3°C at many places in interior Odisha during the next two days and no major change is likely thereafter.
