Rayagada: In a deadly accident on Odisha – Andhra border, six persons were killed and two sustained critical injuries after an autorickshaw was knocked down by a truck.
All the occupants of the autorickshaw were/are residents of Bangaramma village in Komarada block of Andhra Pradesh. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Parbatipur.
The mishap took place when the autorickshaw coming from Majhighariani temple collided with a speeding truck, head-on. The deaths occurred on the spot, sources said. Police arrived at the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital
