Bastar (Chhattisgarh): One jawan of the CAF 16B Battalion was killed and another sustained minor injury in an IED blast by Maoists at Bastar in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Lakra, head constable of CAF 16B Battalion.
According to reports, the incident occurred when a team of the CAF 16B Battalion went for a search near the Orcha Pota Cabin where the Maoists had put up a poster.
