Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA from Odisha’s Junagarh Assembly constituency, Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra tied the nuptial knot with Priyanka Agasti, a resident of Dekota village in Golamunda block of Odisha’s Kalahandi district, as per Hindu tradition at a resort in Puri on Sunday. 
The BJD legislator got married to Priyanka Agasti a few hours after the ring ceremony today in presence of their family members and close relatives.
This was the second marriage for Dibya Shankar as well as Priyanka.
According to reports, earlier Dibya Shankar had married a woman from the Jaipatna area in the Kalahandi district. He divorced his wife later. Dibya Shankar has a son from his first marriage and he is studying abroad.
Priyanka, a software engineer, had previously married a man from Dharmagarh and later got divorced. Earlier on Sunday morning, a pre-marriage ritual, ‘Nirbandha’, was performed, while the marriage was solemnised in the afternoon.
