Baripada: Two brothers were killed and another person was grievously injured when the bike which they were riding hit a milestone on the roadside in Mayurbhanj district today.
According to reports, Ramchandra Singh and Bharat Chandra Singh and their relative Gagan Marandi of Kushalda village of Mayurbhanj district were returning home from Khunta after work when the bike which they were riding hit a milestone on the roadside near Kushalda police outpost in the afternoon today.
While Ramachandra and Bharat Chandra died on the spot, Gagan who was critically injured was rescued by the locals and admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Khunta.
Gagan’s health condition was stated to be critical.
