Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday forecast thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, and Koraput.
According to the IMD, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khurda, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Rayagada, and Koraput
On the other hand, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha over the next 24 hours. On March 15 and 16, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri, the IMD added.
