Bhubaneswar: Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Pramila Mallik along with senior officials called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and handed over the ‘Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar’ 2023.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness and congratulated Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) on the occasion. Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena and Special Relief Commissioner and Managing Director OSDMA accompanied the Minister.
It may be noted that the OSDMA has bagged the Award for Outstanding Work in Disaster Management.
Mallik received the prestigious award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in presence of Chief Secretary and MD, OSDMA at a function held in New Delhi on March 10.
The Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar has been instituted by the Central Government to recognize and honour the invaluable contribution and selfless service rendered by individuals and organizations in India in the field of disaster management.
