Koraput: In a tragic incident, a Class X student appearing for the Matric examination at a center in Damanjodi in Odisha’s Koraput district fell unconscious and died on the spot during the exam on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Kuna Pujari, a student of Malusanta Government High School in Damanjodi. According to reports, the boy was appearing for the examination at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in the Nalco township of Damanjodi.
The school authorities rushed Kuna to the Nalco hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. On being informed, a team of police personnel reached the spot and launched an investigation.
While the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he was suffering from some ailment.
