Bhubaneswar: A man was brutally attacked by his younger brother and nephew allegedly over a property related dispute in Bolangir’s Kalsaepali village on Friday night.
The critically injured Satrughana Kalsae was first admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College, from where he was shifted to VSS Medical College and Hospital, as his condition deteriorated.
According to reports, Satrughana was involved in a long-standing dispute with his younger brother Bhagaban. On Friday night, there was an argument between the two which turned violent.
Within minutes into the argument, Bhagaban and his son Bipin took out sharp weapons and attacked Satrughana who sustained serious injuries. Following the attack, Bhagaban and his son fled the spot.
Bolangir Sadar police have registered a case in this connection and launched a search for the assailant father-son duo.
