Bhubaneswar: Moderate to intense thunderstorm with lightning, hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40kmph and light to Moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Puri, Khordha and Cuttack (including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities) within next three hours, said Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar in a nowcast warning (Red Warning) issued at around 3 PM.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
