Sambalpur: Excise Department officials with the help of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have arrested three persons accused of trafficking ganja, said an official press communique.
Excise officials have seized 40 kg of ganja from their possession.
The accused persons have been identified as Bhim Kumar (23), Mithlesh Kumar (21) and Sarvjeet Kumar (19).
The accused persons were nabbed during a raid on Ispat Express at Sambalpur railway station while they were carrying contraband from Saintala in Bolangir.
While the accused persons Bhim Kumar and Mithlesh Kumar are from Bhojpur and Rohatas districts of Bihar respectively, Sarvjeet Kumar hails from Kushi Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
