Agitation At Khemasuli Stn: North-Bound Trains To & From ECoR To Be Affected

Bhubaneswar: In view of public agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj at Khemasuli Station in Kharagpur-Tata Railway Section of Kharagpur Division and at Kustaur Station in Adra-Chandil Railway Section of Adra Division under South Eastern Railway, north bound trains from and to East Coast Railway have been partially affected.

According to the ECoR, following trains have been cancelled or diverted:

Diversion of Trains

1. 18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur
2. 12802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from New Delhi on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur and Hijli
3. 12819 Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Odisha Sampark Kranti Express from Bhubaneswar on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Bhojudih-Gomoh
4. 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on 5th April, 2023 will run via Tata-Chandil-Purulia-Bokaro Steel City-Adra-Midnapur
5. 18477 Puri-Rishikesha Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on 5th April, 2023 will run via Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road and Ib
6. 22824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express from New Delhi on 5th April 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur-Hijli
7. 18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur

Cancellation of Trains

1. 12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from both the directions on 5th April, 2023 will remain cancelled

Partial Cancellation of Trains

1. 22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express from Villupuram on 5th April, 2023 will run up to Adra and will remain cancelled from Adra to Purulia
