Bhubaneswar: All Government, aided and private schools up to class XII and all Anganwadi Centres in Odisha will remain closed tomorrow and the day after (April 19th and 20th) due to prevailing heat wave conditions in the State.
This was informed by Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena in a tweet today evening.
As many as 29 places in the state recorded maximum day temperature of 40°C and above.
The IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for heat wave conditions in several districts.
