Cuttack: Eid-Ul-Fitr will be celebrated after the sighting of Shawwal crescent moon on Saturday.
A decision in this regard was taken by the elders of the Muslim community at
Anjuman Islamia Ahele Sunnat-O-Jamaat at Dewan Bazar here today.
The Ruhate-Hilal (Chaand) Committee had convened a meeting for deciding the schedule of Eid. The City of Brotherhood – Cuttack is all decked up to celebrate Eid.
President of the All Odisha Anjuman Islamia, Md Abdul Ahad, vice-president Sayyad Iqram Hussain, and president of Chaand Committee Ojahul Qamar were present at the meeting.
