Bhubaneswar: Moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 40- 50 kmph, hail, and moderate to intense rain is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Bolangir, and Kalahandi during the next three hours, said the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD’s) here at 5.00 PM today.
The IMD has issued an ‘Orange Warning’ (Be prepared) for the aforementioned districts.
Further, the IMD has advised people to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
