Bhubaneswar: A day after a number of examinees pointed out errors in question papers, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Monday announced the cancellation of the examination conducted on Sunday.
In a fresh notice, the OSSC said, “Because of substantial errors in the printing of Odia version of the questions in the Preliminary examination for Accountant under the Housing and Urban Development department, the OSSC has decided to cancel the preliminary examination held on April 23, 2023 (both Odia and English version).”
OSSC further said that the Commission regrets the inconvenience caused to the applicants. “Fresh date for preliminary examination for Accountant will be announced shortly,” the notice added.
Earlier, aspirants for the post of accountant, who appeared in the recruitment examination conducted by OSSC on Sunday, reported errors in the question papers.
