Bhubaneswar: The most-awaited trial run of Vande Bharat Express will be carried out from Howrah to Puri and back on April 28 (Friday).
The train will start from Howrah station at 6:10 am and reach Puri at 12:35 pm. There will be 2 minute halts at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road stations, enroute.
The train will depart from Puri at 1:50 pm and arrive at Howrah at 8:30 pm, with the same stoppages in between the journey, the Railways informed.
The second trial run will be organized on April 30 (Sunday) from Howrah to Bhadrak and back. The decision on the third trial run will be taken on May 1 after getting updates from the Railway Board regarding the inauguration of Vande Bharat Express rake, reports stated.
