Bhubaneswar: Ten Odia students studying at Manipur’s Central Agricultural University reached Bhubaneswar today. On the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Paribar was directed to facilitate the return of students from Odisha in Manipur which has been affected by communal violence.
Last night, these students were brought to Kolkata and today morning they arrived at Bhubaneswar airport. Students from Odisha were welcomed at the airport. Later they went to meet the CM at Naveen Nivas. The students thanked the Chief Minister for bringing them back safely to Bhubaneswar.
The Chief Minister asked them about their studies and expressed hope that normalcy would return to Manipur soon. The Chief Minister welcomed the children by giving them Hockey India jerseys.
