Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court will remain closed from May 22 to June 20 for summer vacation.
The High Court will reopen on June 21, said a notification issued by the court.
However, the vacation benches of the High Court will sit on May 23, May 25, May 30, June 1, June 6, June 8, June 12 and June 13 to hear urgent cases, it added.
A two-member bench of Justice KR Mohapatra and Justice MS Sahoo and single-judge benches of Justice V. Narasingh and Justice Chittaranjan Dash will sit on May 23 and 25.
Similarly, the two-member bench of Justice KR Mohapatra and Justice MS Sahoo and single-judge benches of Justice V Narasingh and Justice Gourishankar Satapathy will hear cases on May 30, said the notification.
As per the notification, the two-member bench of Justice SK Sahoo and Justice MS Raman and single-judge benches of Justice BP Routray and Justice Gourishankar Satapathy will sit on June 1.
The two-member bench of Justice SK Sahoo and Justice MS Raman and single-judge benches of Justice Sashikanta Mishra and Justice BP Satapathy will hear urgent cases on June 6 and 8, said the notification.
Similarly, the two-member bench of Justice Sashikanta Mishra and Justice SK Mishra and single-judge benches of Justice Aditya Kumar Mohapatra and Justice BP Satapathy will sit on June 12 and 13, added the notification.
