Bhubaneswar: Due to thunderstorms on Sunday, a branch of a tree fell on the OHE wire and affected electric supply while the Vande Bharat Express was on its way from Howrah to Puri, the East Coast Railway informed.
As a result, Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express passing during that time at a speed of 130kmph was also affected and delayed service due to nonsupply of power.
“Now, Howrah-Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express is ready to provide service from tomorrow (Tuesday) onwards,” the ECoR stated.
