Bhubaneswar: Two Engineering college students drowned to death in the Kuakhai river today evening near Indrapal in Balipatna on the outskirts of the city.
The deceased students have been identified as Smruti Sourav Pradhan of Tamando of Khordha district and Satyajit Das of Rengali in Angul district, reports said.
Their bodies were recovered from the river by the Fire Services team of Balipatna.
The tragic incident occurred while they were bathing in the river at around 7.30 PM, reports added.
