Bhubaneswar: The South Eastern Railway will run two special MEMU trains from Howrah to Balasore on Sunday.
According to the information, a train will leave Howrah at 10.30 am while another is scheduled to depart from Howrah at 1.00 pm.
The trains will have stoppages at all stations between Howrah and Balasore.
Similarly, a special train will start from Bhadrak at 1.00 pm on Sunday and it will run up to Chennai in the path of 12841 Coromandel Express. It will have stoppages at CTC, BBSR, and all other stoppages of 12841 Coromandel Express. Stranded passengers of the train that met with an accident in the Balasore district of Odisha and their relatives can avail of the train service.
The train will also have a parcel van attached to carry bodies if required.
On the other hand, all 21 coaches, which were mutilated due to the derailment, have been grounded. Bogies/wheelsets and other components were being cleared from the accident site, the Railways said.
The train accident involving Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express, and a goods train at Bahanaga in Balasore district on June 2 has claimed at least 288 lives.
