Bhubaneswar: Passengers of the Secunderabad-Agartala Express were panic-stricken after they detected smoke in a compartment of the train. The passengers immediately pulled the emergency alarm and alighted from the train at Brahmapur railway station.
Meanwhile, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) acknowledged the incident saying that a minor electrical issue happened in coach No B-5 of Train No 07030 Secunderabad-Agartala Express near Brahmapur station. The on-duty staff attended immediately and rectified the issue, a release from the ECoR clarified.
