Bhubaneswar: Schools across the state will reopen on June 21, after summer vacation, the School and Mass Education Department informed today.
The summer vacation had commenced on April 21 in view of the heat wave conditions in the state.
The schools were earlier scheduled to reopen on June 19. However, due to the blistering heat wave situation in the state, the government today decided to extend the date.
Several parts of Odisha turned into a cauldron today as heat wave condition intensified across the state, from the early hours if the day.
