No Relief From Unbearable Heat, Mercury Levels On The Rise

Bhubaneswar: Severe heatwave conditions continued to batter Odisha as maximum daytime temperatures from 44 degrees Celcius at several places on Saturday afternoon.

While Bolangir and Sambalpur recorded 45 degrees, at least 9 places including Bhubaneswar recorded maximum temperatures of 44 degrees Celcius by 2 pm today.

Below is Odisha’s temperature map shared by IMD showing the mercury levels at various places on June 17 afternoon:
