Bhubaneswar: Pulling of the Darpadalana and Nandighosha resumed in Puri at around 9.30 am on Wednesday.
While Lord Balabhadra’s chariot Taladhwaja reached the Saradhabali in front of the Shree Gundicha Temple on Wednesday evening, Nandogjpsja – the chariot of Lord Jagannath halted near the Mausima Temple before Balagandi Chhak and Darpadalana – the chariot of Devi Subhadra halted at Badasankha last evening owing to dusk.
It was then decided that the pulling of Darpadalana and Nandighosha will resume on Wednesday morning after conducting the rituals.
The halting of the two chariots has provided the devotees with another opportunity to pull the chariots of Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath today.
