Bhubaneswar: Having entered their birth altar ‘Adapa Mandapa’ in a ceremonial procession on Thursday, the Holy Trinity of Puri Srimandir will give darshan to lakhs of deities on their birth altar from Friday. The Lords will now be offered the ‘Mahaprasad’, known as ‘Adapa Abhada’, which will be available for the devotees from today.
According to popular belief, people who take even a morsel of ‘Adapa Abhada’ get virtues of numerous births.
While Lord Jagannath and His sibling deities Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra give darshan to the devotees from Srimandir throughout the year, during the nine days of sojourn to Mausi Baari on the occasion of the annual Rath Yatra, the devotees can get their darshan from the ‘Adapa Mandap’.
The devotees will be allowed to pay obeisance to the deities at Adapa Mandap from Friday. Adapa Abhada will also be made available for the devotees from tomorrow,” said an official of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
All arrangements have been made for smooth darshan of the Holy Trinity inside Gundicha Temple and participating in ‘Adapa Abhada’.
